Hello hello!
It is blanket season! Yay!
One of the projects that I enjoy making the most is blankets. Baby blankets for sure, but there’s something about chunky adult-sizes blankets that I really enjoy!
Well, today I want to share with you my last blanket pattern, it is very simple and quick to make. The size I will share with you is the Small throw, which is 56″ x 60″.
Pin now, crochet later!
And yes, believe me when I say it will only take you 6 hours!
It is very satisfying watching your project grow more and more by the hour.
If you are a beginner, this is the perfect project for you. It is made using chunky yarn which makes it easier to see the stitches that you are working on.
Also, it is a project that works fast, therefore is very motivating for a beginner to continue and don’t give up.
It is also an excellent Christmas gift! People will be thrilled with it and you are going to be the queen of the night for giving such a beautiful handmade present!
Because it is made using super bulky yarn, you can use anyone, not just Bernat Blanket (which is the one that I used). Although, Bernat Blanket will be the one giving you the best/softest results.
Any Chenille-type of yarn will work best.
As always, I will leave the PDF version down here. The PDF includes 13 sizes, and it is free of ads. You can easily print it or download it on your phone or tablet.

Hi! I’m a new crocheter. I want to make the movie night blanket but how many yards is each skein? I saw the 1200g/804m but I don’t understand what that is. Thank you.

Hi! So the 1200 grams and 804 meters are the total amounts of yarn needed to make this size blanket provided here for free 🙂
So, in order to make this blanket, you need that amount of yarn. If you are using Bernat Blanket, that’s 4 skeins 🙂
Autumn Risner says
Thank you! The store in town only had Yarn Bee. It says each skein is 111 yards. How many grams is that?

Hi Daniela! I love every video that you have made😊! You make each pattern so doable for a beginner and each project looks very professional. You make each stitch so simple with easy to see lighting and clearly spoken instructions. It was your Andes Beanie that drew me in, thinking it was a knit. I was so surprised that this plush beanie is a CROCHET pattern! I’m 74 years old, have crochet hooks, but have never learned to do anything except a chain stitch! Lol! Now its all I want to do! The Andes Beanie, the headband, the plush scarf … I’m busy making Christmas gifts and I’m going shopping tomorrow for the Bernat Blanket yarn. I’m excited to make and give the blanket for a wedding gift. Everything has turned out beautifully and I know the recipients will love what they get.
THANK YOU!!! You have taken the stress out of gift giving for my college age grandkids, all the way down to my 2 year old great grandson!
I’m so glad I found you! ❤❤❤ THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH!
