Pattern
Using the long tail cast-on method, cast on 43 stitches. Keep in mind that you will only need 42 stitches but I use an extra one to join the round.
If you want to use any other amount of stitches, you will need an EVEN number.
Row 1: We will start with the ribbing of the neck warmer. To begin K1, P1, K1, P1… Continue this sequence all the way around.
Row 2-3: Repeat row 1
Now we begin with the Broken Rib stitch.
Row 4: K all the way around
Row 5: K1, P1, K1, P1, K1, P1… Repeat this sequence all the way around
Continue alternating rows 4 and 5 until you have 27 rows in the Broken rib stitch (30 in total if we count the 3 initial rows)
Once you are done, make another 3 rows with the ribbing stitch
Row 31-33: K1, P1, K1, P1... Continue this sequence all the way around.
When you finish the 33 rows, now it’s time to bind off your stitches.
To do that, K the first stitch, P the second, and then take your first stitch, pass it over the last one made and drop it off the needle.
Continue doing this all the way around until you have just 1 stitch on your needles.
Cut the yarn, grab your tapestry needle, and weave in the ends.
