This headband is worked 100% in the round. This eliminates the need for unsightly seams that can distract from the overall beauty of your headband. With this technique, you will create a seamless tube that wraps snugly around your head. providing a polished, professional finish.
In this pattern, I will show you how to do a stretchy bind-off, that helps with the overall stretch of this headband.

- Cast on and off

Yarn
For this headband size (adult), I used Super Bulky weight yarn only 60g. I used Malabrigo Rasta (you can purchase the yarn directly from my shop through the link)

Pattern stitch 4″x4″ = 9 sts x 12 rows
Abbreviations
- K – Knit
- P – Purl
- St(es) – Stitch(es)
Pattern
With your preferred cast-on method, cast on 40 sts.
Join to work in the round
Round 1: [K1, P1]. Repeat all the way around. (40)
Round 2: [K1, P1}. Repeat all the way around. (40)
Round 3: [P1, K1]. Repeat all the way around. (40)
Round 4: [P1, K1}. Repeat all the way around. (40)
Alternate rounds 1-2 and 3-4 for a total of 16 rounds.
Now, using the elastic cast-off method, cast off all 40 stitches. Fasten off and weave in ends.
The width of this headband is 4″
