Hello hello!
You guys loved my previous quick and easy chunky blanket, so here’s another one!
I love making chunky blankets, they’re quick and I can finish them in a very reasonable timeframe.
Being a mom is the best thing that has ever happened to me, but man is it time-consuming.
After posting the movie night throw, I knew I needed to make more blankets. I made this one right before Christmas, and it only took 4.5 hours to make.

And yes, believe me when I say it will only take you less than 5 hours!
Watching your project grow more and more by the hour is very satisfying.
If you are a beginner, this is the perfect project for you. It is made using chunky yarn which makes it easier to see the stitches that you are working on.
Also, it is a project that works fast, therefore is very motivating for a beginner to continue and don’t give up.
Because it is made using super bulky yarn, you can use anyone, not just Bernat Blanket (which is the one that I used). Although, Bernat Blanket will be the one giving you the best/softest results.
Any Chenille-type of yarn will work best.
If you would like the ad-free printable pattern PDF with all sizes included, you can get it from Etsy or My Shop. The PDF also includes the crochet diagram.

For this blanket and this size, I used 4 skeins of Bernat Blanket (1200g/804m). You can use any chenille-type yarn.

Hi! I am following the video for this pattern, and at the end of row 1 I keep ending up with 74 stitches instead of 72. I have redone it a few times and am not sure what I’m messing up, haha. Do you have any ideas as to why this is happening? Thanks so much!

I absolutely love this pattern and want to make this blanket. I want to make it a bit bigger though. Would you suggest adding a certain multiple of chains? So instead of 75 maybe do 95?
