Hello everyone!
It is almost that time of the year, and the holidays are around the corner.
As a busy mom, I’m always looking for a quick & fast project, especially those last-minute Christmas gifts. As well as pretty things to bring to markets.
That is the reason why I’ve created the Lola Headband.
Pin now, crochet later!
This headband is super simple and quick to crochet, making it the perfect product to bring to markets and/or for last-minute Christmas gifts.
I wanted a headband that took me, hopefully, 30 minutes or less to make and THIS IS IT!
I used the herringbone single crochet stitch. But hey, I didn’t do it the traditional way (which is working the stitch from both sides to create a zig-zag-looking stitch). I did it the same way from both sides so that it was faster to make and it looks nicer than a regular single crochet.
The stitch might look like Half Double Crochet, but it isn’t. It is not as tall as a HDC and it makes the fabric a little more thick if that makes sense. Which is perfect for the winter, especially the Canadian winter!.
The following pattern is for the adult version. However, you can purchase the ad-free printable PDF from my website or Etsy. This PDF includes all sizes, from NB all the way up to adult.
