The Amore blanket is the perfect and the most snuggly baby blanket ever!
It’s very easy and simple to make! Perfect for beginners and/or advanced knitters.
I had so much fun knitting it! As you go, you will remember the rows and won’t need the write the pattern anymore, trust me!
This blanket is reversible and it looks amazing from both sides.
Perfect for a baby shower or birthday gift!
I made this blanket with bulky weight yarn and it went by so fast. It is such a fun project to bring with you and knit on the go.
I used this gorgeous pearl grey from Red Heart Soft Essentials. It is the perfect gender-neutral colour. You can never go wrong with a gift like this for a baby shower!
To make a blanket like this, all you need to know is how to knit and purl, that’s it! Not increases or decreases, nor a crazy stitch, nothing. Just knit and purl, easy right?
As I mentioned before, the sequence is very simple to memorize, after a few rows you will get the idea and it will go by so quick, I promise!

Row 24: Repeat row 22
Repeat these 8 rows until you have 33 squares or until row 132
Row 133: K all the way and remove markers
Row 134-148: Repeat row 133 (garter stitch)
Your blanket should measure 34″x40″ (86 cm x 100 cm)
f you want to make a bigger or smaller blanket, cast on more or fewer stitches considering the following: You will need a multiple of 8 + 5. Then 8 stitches on each side for the border (a total of 16).
For example: I used 120 stitches + 5 = 125 + 16= 141
