Hello everyone!
Spring is finally here and there’s nothing better than crocheting things for babies.
I’m currently pregnant with my second baby, a little girl, and let me tell you, making stuff for babies never gets old!
Pin now, crochet later!
This is one of those projects that you can finish in one weekend, watching tv, relaxing.
I made this blanket using 3 different colours, if you know me by now, you know that I’m obsessed with the colour mustard, so of course, I had to include it in this blanket.
Have you ever crocheted with velvet yarn? It’s not the most difficult thing in the world, but it definitely requires a bit of practice. The best tip I can give you is to go slow and feel the stitches with your fingers so get used to it.
This is a very simple and repetitive stitch pattern, which makes it perfect to crochet with Velvet yarn.
To make this pattern I used Bernat Velvet but if you can’t find it, you can also use Lion Brand Vel-Lux yarn or any Velvet yarn.
Finished size
32″ wide x 42″ long

Just wondering if you have this blanket in a knit pattern?
Also how many skeins of yarn are needed for adult heart hat? Thank you for your beautiful patterns.
