The stitch I’m using to make this pillow is single crochet and the one that I call, extended single crochet.
This stitch is very dense and squishy, we used it to make the Cottage Mug Rug for the first time last year, it is incredibly easy and beautiful.
I have 3 sizes available for you, so you can make the one that best suits your needs. The one we are making today is the 16″x16″

Place both wrong sides facing each other, insert the hook in the top right corner and start to slip stitching all the way around (counterclockwise).
Leave one side open to insert your pillow.
Make sure all 4 corners are nice and straight.
Once your pillow is in, proceed to close the last side.
Fasten off and weave in the end.
