Hello hello!
How is your week going?. Today I have a super fun tutorial for all of you Fall/Aumtun lovers.
As I mentioned in the last post, we are going to learn how to knit a pumpkin!
These pumpkins are very easy and quick to knit up. You don’t need lots of yarn and you can customize the size and the stitch.
As you can see in the picture above, I added a cinnamon stick to my pumpkin and it doesn’t just look cute, it also smells amazing!
I’m going to show you how to knit 2 different pumpkins, both with super bulky weight yarn #6
You can choose whatever yarn you’d like, however, I would recommend not using anything thinner than worsted weight.
Another thing to keep in mind is that these pumpkins that we are just about to make, it’s very similar to crocheting amigurumi, which means that you need to use a smaller crochet hook than the yarn calls for. This is so your stitches would be nice and tight and you won’t be able to see the stuffing.
