Hello everyone, happy weekend!
As I promised in my previous post, today I’m going to show you how to join your hexagons or granny squares for you to make any projects that you’d like.
First and foremost, you need to learn how to make the hexagons, so if you haven’t seen my previous post/video, here is the LINK so you can make as many hexagons as you need.
Pin now, Crochet later!
This is the easiest way that I have found to join them. It is also the one that looks the best (in my opinion) as it is very sleek and leaves no bumps.
As I said, you can make any projects that you’d like with these hexagons, but today I’m making a beautiful table runner.
For this project, I used 29 hexagons. Keep in mind that I have a small Ikea coffee table so please make as many as you need to reach the desired length.
The next thing that you can customize is the ends of your table runner. I decided to leave one single hexagon on each end but you can definitely change that and leave 2 or even 3 if you prefer.

Table runner diagram + colour distribution
If you want to use the same colours as I did, or similar with the same distribution, please follow the diagram below.
Once you’re done, cut the yarn and weave in the ends. Now you’re done! Time to make a bunch of them and join them to make your table runner!
As always, if this post was helpful, please share it on social media and don’t forget to tag me on Instagram, you can find me as @CJ.DSGN.
