This week’s video is probably one of my favourites. I’ve partnered with Clover to bring you this super cute pattern.
In this tutorial I’m gonna show you how to Crochet these beautiful Boho Coasters, they are very easy and quick to make. I used two colours because I think it looks very pretty but you can use one or up to five of your favourite colours!
The coasters are worked up from the center to the outside and you can literally make them in 15 minutes!
In this tutorial, I used acrylic yarn but I would recommend you use cotton. It would hold its shape better and I think it would look even nicer.
Now let’s see what you need to make them.
Materials
- Yarn: Any category 4 – Worsted weight yarn will work
- Clover 6 mm Crochet Hook
- Scissors
- Tapestry Needle
- Stitch Markers
Stitches you should know
- Magic Ring
- Slip Stitch
- Chain
- Single Crochet
- Double Crochet
In this video I will show you how to make the “pink” coaster but I will also show you a small variation that I did for the “mustard” coaster.
As you can see, the pink coaster has some little holes in the last row. I wanted to change it a little and instead of holes I did a small ‘Picot stitch” which is basically a small bubble made out of slip stitches and chains.
So make sure you watch the video until the end!
Now let’s watch the video tutorial…
I think this pattern is easier to just watch and do instead of reading the written pattern.
I wanted to make the Crochet Chart so bad but my software didn’t include the different bubble stitches so I couldn’t do it, sorry!
But I really hope you guys liked this tutorial, if so please don’t forget to give it a thumbs up, subscribe to my channel and share the video.
I would also love to know which one was your favourite, are you planning on making them? how many colours are you gonna use?.
Don’t forget to share your pictures on Instagram and use the hashtag #BohoCoasters so we can all see your beautiful creations!
Happy Crochet! ~ Dani
