Hello knitters!
It has been a minute since I promised you guys this pattern.
Almost a year (or longer), and I honestly don’t know why it took me this long to finally share it, BUT, better late than never! (am I right?).
Let me introduce to you, the beautiful Luca Beanie, a very simple 2×2 ribbed beanie, simple and stylish.
I made this beanie back when my baby was teeny tiny and the main reason was that my baby had a pretty long head, so every single “baby hat” (those nice cotton hats) was too short on his head, so I couldn’t use them.
That’s why I decided to make this simple beanie, one because it was super easy and quick to make, and two I loved the idea of making a folded brim so in case the hat was “too short” or “too long” I could adjust it easily.
Pin now, crochet later!
It was also very comfortable because as a newborn, we weren’t out much, so he didn’t need a super bulky and extremely warm hat. This hat was perfect, warm enough but not too crazy.
I also think that this beanie would make the PERFECT baby shower gift or a simple gift to a pregnant woman! So beautiful, you can make the small sizes very quickly and you don’t need a lot of yarn, win-win!
Now, for this beanie I used 100% premium acrylic, my baby wasn’t allergic to anything so I didn’t have to worry, but if you are thinking about making it with any other materials, please feel free to do so.
As always, I will leave the Ad-Free Pattern PDF for you to purchase down below.
